Before long, your precious puppy will be a full grown dog. Therefore, it is essential to teach a puppy not to jump right from the beginning. When your puppy is no longer a puppy and starts jumping, you start asking:
“How do I stop my dog from jumping?”
In the video, you will see stopping your dog from jumping is a very simple process. Well, it is simple if everyone participates.
- First, get everyone involved. Everyone must agree to a no jumping policy
- When the dog jumps, grab the paws. (Do not squeeze the paws.)
- Hold the paws until your dog/puppy starts to struggle
- When the puppy is struggling to free the paws, give the “OFF” command
- Let go of the paws and praise your dog
- Repeat every time the puppy jumps
Here’s an easy method that you can use to stop your dog from jumping on friends and family. Don’t forget to rate this video, leave comments and subscribe to my channel.
